GOD AS CREATOR
Creation narratives Quite a scholarly site on the authorship of the two Genesis creation stories.
Gods How Gods were viewed in ancient Canaan, the land to which Israel went.
Nature of God Pope John Paul II view. It's sound stuf but rather heavy going.
GOODNESS OF GOD
Father God This long and very detailed article talks about the idea of God as a father. Very comprehensive and academic.
Decalogue The text and a discussion of the origins of the ten commandments. A slightly unusual site, which despite its name has strong conservative leanings.
Commandments The New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia is also very sound and it has a number of helpful links.
MIRACLES
Although this section is listed in the OCR syllabus as "God's activity in the world; the concept of miracle" in the "Judaeo-Christian tradition" the example of miracle is cited from the Old Testament Josh 10:1-15. For students wishing to see information on Christian miracles click here. Part of the A2 New Testament A2 option looks at this topic.
Miracles A useful tour of philosophical opinions on miracles. It comes from the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy which is sound but wordy.
Miracles in the Bible This site which makes me squirm just a little does have a good looking-up system. If you scroll down far enough, you should find the reference and a link to the text of any miracle you may be looking for. I wouldn't go a bundle on its scholarly content though.
David Hume on miracles Why not read the real thing? It's not very long.
