This site is called "Meditation, a Christian perspective." It is quite a deep
article and I'm not sure I agreewith everything in it. Nevertheless it is worth
considering.

A phenomenal enterprise, all you ever wanted to know about meditation and more. It is thorough
eg "WARNING: Obviously one must practice Cathartic Dancing Meditation in a safe location
and not near the edge of a cliff or on a hard surface where one might fall and break
one's skull." That's what I call detailed. Still worth a look though.
some of the heading are very useful. Use the site with care.
Someone once said to me : "Meditation is like prayer. The only difference is that
in meditation you focus on the words (mantra) and in prayer you focus on God."
