National Youth Pilgrimage This page has useful pictures of the National Youth Pilgrimage to Walsingham in 2001.

ST CUTHBERT PILGRIMAGES

This is a bit unusual but in the North of England, Cuthbert has a significant following and there is much to learn here about pilgrimage.

IRELAND

FRANCE

Lourdes - Pilgrims for healing

Lourdes A Roman Catholic site dedicated to Lourdes. Good photos.

Lourdes and the tourist A site that looks at Lourdes as just another French town. Even so it has some useful information.

Pilgrimage to Lourdes This site belongs to Catholic Pilgrims .com. It's more than a brochure though. Good photographs and a clear description about the place.

ISRAEL

Galilee A number of photographs of the Sea of Galilee.

JERUSALEM

Jerusalem A useful virtual pilgrimage site. Good articles on history and an interesting interactive model of the city.

Jerusalem Tour Any site with a name like "Jerusalem I love you" produces a reaction of caution, but this is the best Jerusalem site I have found. Sensible amounts of text and stunning photographs. Five Star Rating!

Church of the Holy Sepulchre A detailed website on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Travel Guide This site "What to do in Jerusalem" might be very useful about the sorts of places pilgrims could visit. Worth a look for ideas!

ROME

Roman catacombs This is a fascinating site. You could get as lost on it as you could in the catacombs themselves. Nevertheless, the pictures are remarkable. It is a must if you are considering Rome as a place of pilgrimage.
