Riding Lights
Riding Lights have lost none of their impact with this new production. Tour locations are shown on their home page.

Roly Bain Dates
Roly Bain is an inspirational clown. He is also an Anglican Clergyman, who through his ministry as a clown produces a wonderful mixture of spirituality and fun. His website seems to be a bit on the blink, but click here for some wonderful images of him at work.

Roop Singh brings the world of Sikhism into schools. His stories, interactive workshops, drama sessions have been experienced by over 600 schools in the UK. His work is now extending to USA, Canada and Australia. In addition he is willing to provide support for teachers with classroom support and advice about availability of resources. Saltmine This is the Saltmine Trust Christian theatre group who are touring the country with their productions. This link will take you to their main feature page.

London Jewish Cultural Centre They have a fascinating weekly programme which is available on line. There are exhibitions, films and practical courses. They have their own weekly newsletter and Sunday afternoon events.

Open days at Morden Mosque
The Morden Mosque holds open days on the last Sunday of each month between 10am and 1pm. Visitors can walk into the site and be given a guided tour of the site. They can ask any questions about Islam and have an informal one to one discussion. Light refreshments are available.

Christian Resources Exhibition
CRE continues to be the UK's biggest and most successful Christian exhibition with shows being held in London, Harrogate, Exeter, Glasgow, Telford and Belfast.

Chester Mystery Plays
28th June - 19th July 2008 City of Chester
The next full-scale production of Chester's famous medieval mystery plays takes place on Cathedral Green in the heart of Chester: JUNE 28th - JULY 19th 2008 A unique blend of the sacred and secular performed only every five years in this 2,000-year-old walled city.

Islam Expo
11th - 14th July 2008 Olympia
IslamExpo is a non-profit organisation based in the United Kingdom dedicated to enhancing understanding of Islam in Britain and building bridges between the Muslim world and the West. This is a fabulous exhibition and celebration of culture. Personally recommended by the Webmaster.

Glastonbury Annual Catholic Pilgrimage
Sunday 13th July 2008 Mass at 3.30pm in the Abbey
After processing down from the Tor, the pilgrims enter the Abbey and celebrate Mass.

Living Islam
17th July -20th July 2008 Lincolnshire Showground
The Living Islam Event 2008 is organised by The Islamic Society of Britain for Muslims. It is is open to all, who wish to understand Islam and to live by its teachings and principles.
Non-Muslim teachers ought at least to have a look at the website. Our website editor will probably be discovered tunnelling in to try and access some of their teaching resources.

East London Mela

The East London Mela offers extensive activities targeting the whole family. The event brings together the diverse ethnic communities from East London and surrounding areas. Attractions range from all the fun of the fair through to live music presented on a live concert stage, with community, information and food trade stands in between.

London Mela
10th August 2008
The London Mela is taking place in Gunnersbury Park in West London this year from 12pm on Sunday 12th August. With a strong turn out last year, this year the London Mela event expects to attract 90,000 people to West London for a celebration of South Asian culture.

Greenbelt
22-25th August 2008
As always Greenbelt takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse. Greenbelt is an independent Christian charity working to express love, creativity and justice in the arts and contemporary culture in the light of the Christian gospel.
